With its striking architecture, the IZD Tower is not only one of the largest office buildings in Austria and an icon of the Viennese skyline, but also one of the most sought-after office locations. For the accountancy firm EY Austria, who counts among the IZD Tower’s lessees, an open and bright office area was designed, in which all office spaces are only separated by glass walls. The combination of modern lighting design and high-quality floor coverings, which have a light-reflecting function, creates an environment suffused with light. Floor surfaces are fitted with carpet qualities with predominantly subtle and warm colours. The use of several strong tones has specifically produced touches of colour. The metallic sheen-effect of quality GLORY 1500 and the exclusive surface designs of Quality POODLE 1400 accentuate the pleasant lighting mood and spacial atmosphere. The carpet tiles of the classy frisé velour with the BlackThermo®Felt Acoustics Plus backing also mean that the sound of footsteps in the corridors is considerably reduced. The use of fitted carpets from OBJECT CARPET ensures an office environment that meets the demands for contemporary design and pleasing spacial acoustics in equal measure.
