A striking, clearly structured glass and metal façade with white-lacquered aluminum panels - the multi-storey office building with more than 26,000 square meters in the heart of Munich is an eye-catcher. The building was once the headquarters of the technology group Siemens. Since 2016, it has been owned by the real estate investment company Hines and has since been revitalized by extensive construction measures. The aim is to upgrade the building from 1998 - which is characterized by the signature of the architect Richard Meier - in accordance with the DGNB and LEED certifications. Hines has found three major tenants for the Oskar on the Oskar von Miller Ring with the publisher Condé Nast, the online retailer Amazon and WeWork - an American company that offers coworking space. The premises present themselves with efficient floor plans and a generous reception lobby. The highlight here is the combination of the delicate light elements and the individually fitted carpet SMOOZY by OBJECT CARPET.
