With over 2.4 million installed CNC controls and 400,000 robots, FANUC is the international market leader for factory automation. At the head office of the FANUC Deutschland GmbH in Neuhausen auf den Fildern is the company’s completely redesigned training academy. It is the largest and most modern training academy for industry automation in the German-speaking region: On approximately 2,000 m², a highly modern industrial learning space was created in 2016 for practical training through realistic industry applications. The academy includes an integrated guest house with 67 modern single rooms and a restaurant with an adjacent bar. Sound absorbing floor coverings by OBJECT CARPET were used for the highly sophisticated modern design of the academy rooms: RUGX carpets in various qualities and designs.
